Candidates need to be able to serve patients virtually and in-office settings. Flexibility with schedule and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Trauma Therapist

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy (or the equivalent) from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, or related human service.
• 2+ years of experience with children with serious emotional disturbances, trauma, and abuse/neglect issues. At least five years in the mental health field.
• Licensed in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy. Candidates within 6 months of licensure will be considered.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team and to be flexible. Passion is a must!
• Training in evidence-based Trauma Treatment Models, including CPP and TF-CBT.
• Understanding of the stages of child/adolescent growth and development.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
